A journalist with dual English and German citizenship, Cook lives in London where he is a correspondent for The Telegraph as well as for the Spectator, The Oldie, The Independent, the Guardian. He was awarded the Johann Strauss Gold Medal for his reporting from Vienna. He has also won several prizes for his travel writing, from the German and Netherlands tourist boards.

Rosa Molinero Trias is an independent food journalist living in Barcelona and working for El País, La Vanguardia, El Periódico, elNacional, Tapas and Forbes España. Her passion for gastronomy led her to be a magazine editor and also to become a screenwriter for Cocina Bestial! for national television RTVE. She speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and understands French, Portuguese and Italian well, which he tries to practice as much as possible.

Appreciated Roman director and video maker, Daniele Cini has recently produced 13 documentaries for Geo Rai3 but his history behind the camera is truly very long. Since graduating from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia way back in 1978, Cini's career has been dotted with important productions and numerous awards including Stories on Umbria which he already won in 2022 with a report on the shops of Perugia.

The young photojournalist Stephanie Lin, Californian of Chinese origins, has made a name for herself with her captivating reportage published on YouTube. From breathtaking landscapes to intimate cultural encounters, Stephanie’s work blends visual artistry with engaging narratives, making travel feel both inspiring and accessible. She has collaborated with tourism boards and brands to showcase destinations through compelling photography and video, bringing places to life in a way that resonates with travelers.

German journalist Torsten Schäfer studied Cultural Studies, English and German in Bremen and Film and Media Studies in London. He was the editor-in-chief of a music magazine for many years. Since 2015 he has worked as a spokesperson and public relations officer at the Academy of Cultural Education and Art. In 2014 he launched the travel and food blog dishes-delicious.de, dedicated to travel destinations in Italy and recipes from the country's different regional cuisines. His blog received the ENIT Award from the Italian National Tourism Board as the best travel blog of 2021.

The young journalist from Perugia Teresa Fallavollita boasts a double degree in Historical and Oriental Sciences and one in Political, Social and International Sciences from the Alma Mater of Bologna. She recently collaborated with Fanpage and TG5. She attended the RadioTV Journalism School of Perugia in the two-year period 2022-2024.

Born in Velletri in 1998, he took his first steps in journalism by commentating on his own football matches in the garden. He convinces himself to practice the profession in real life too and enrolls in the Perugia School of Journalism. Shortly before, he had collaborated in writing the book "Strokes of genius - The secrets of the players who changed tennis forever" by Sky Sport journalist Stefano Meloccaro. Since 2024 he has been at Ansa engaged first in the economic editorial team and then in the local newspapers one.

Federico Cristiani, born in Pisa in 1998, graduated in Modern Literature and attended the School of Radio and Television Journalism in Perugia in the two-year period 2022-2024. He currently works for ANSA.

Annalisa Cavaleri from Lombardy is a professional journalist and author of the book "Luxury Food. The key words for winning strategies in luxury food and wine". Graduated in Law from the University of Brescia and in Public Relations and Advertising from the IULM University of Milan, she has worked for years as a journalist and food critic for some of the most important publications in the sector, including the Michelin Guide. For years he has studied the symbolic value of food in religions, haute cuisine, luxury hotels and the relationship between food, territory and art.

Gustav Hofer was born in 1976 in Sarnthein (Southtyrol, Italy). After his studies in Communication Science at the University of Vienna and Cinema at Middlesex University in London, he moved to Rome. He works as a freelance journalist and independent filmmaker. He works for the French-German broadcaster Arte, Deutsche Welle and NZZFORMAT as correspondent and author from Italy. Together with his partner Luca Ragazzi he directed SUDDENLY LAST WINTER (Special Mention in Berlinale 2008), ITALY LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT (2011) , WHAT IS LEFT? (2014), DICKTARTORSHIP (2019).

Mirko Perniola and Federico Grammatica are two young Milanese people who have opened a YouTube channel to discuss issues related to sustainability and mobility, always giving a very personal and personal interpretation. Mirko has a degree in Computer Science and his main work deals with web and database programming. Federico Grammatica is a student of Linguistic Sciences.

The brand new prize intended for the works of Umbrian high school students went to Michele Alessi, Lucia Maccaglia and Stella Stefanucci of the 3BBS of the ITT Allievi-Sangallo of Terni for their "Big bench route: a new perspective to admire the beauties of Umbria". The students were coordinated in their approach to journalistic style by Professor Emanuela Ferri.
